Read the entire article, it was very well done and I personally do not believe that the 6 out of 10 rating was for clicks. To me this is a much better written and reasoned review then the obligatory 10 out of 10 "best game eva" reviews...
I think something to be more concerned about is Steam dropping support for Windows 7 (eventually due to pressure from Microsoft).
They just stopped supporting pre-Windows 7 with few complaints, mark my words Windows 7 is next.
I have been burned over and over with these services starting from heat.net (I still have the t-shirt), On-Live, Games for Windows Live and even a few others.
Digital copies of games, especially a Steam library o...
Not trying to be confrontational but.. the statistics just don't bear that out.
There are typically ~300 rifle homicides/death per year (which includes suicide with a rifle) and ~30,000 handgun related deaths. Not sure why an AR (which actually stands for ArmaLite Rifle and NOT assault rifle) is so scary to people.
AR-15 pattern rifles generally fire a 22 caliber round and compared to a hunting rifle .308 on up is a very tame round. (Please no one tell potential schoo...
Yeah. That is why I have a gun safe... if those guns are not locked up they just start shooting all by themselves!!
I am always shocked at how ignorant people are with regard to firearms, it is really sad.
1.) Australia had 1 major mass shooting PRIOR to enacting gun control - and just had a mass shooting LAST WEEK
2.) While "firearm related" homicides are low per capita, MURDER, (rape, robbery, assault) are far higher than in the US. - is the goal to be "safe" from harm or just the method of the attack. Well he is dead but at least he wasn't shot.. UGH
Looks good until you read the fine print and you need "GeForce Experience" in order to redeem the games - thanks but no thanks.
You would think that with Engines like Unity (which practically support Linux out of the box) it wouldn't be that difficult. Might actually give Unreal engine a run-for-its-money...
I totally agree. Not to mention after trying to download Hitman this month (17GB) and only getting 1MB per sec from PSN on a 50 Mb connection sucks.
Then, I when I went to install and it was corrupted so I had to download again!!
Imagine trying to download a 50GB game... I definately do NOT want this until PSN can provide much faster downloads.
Also, I would rather have some of the data on an 8x Blu-ray so I don't have to use up hard dri...
@BitbyDeath Do you know for certain developers actually get any of the PS+ revenue? I understood that the developers "took a loss" in hope that they could sell DLC and/or sequels. Correct me if I am wrong but I think every game on PS+ doesn't get the developers ANY revenue.
So for all you "disagrees" have you bought more or less games from PSN since you became a PS+ member?
I for one have bought FAR less!
I will keep saying it, we should get a choice in games!!
For example, if I knew I could pick between 2 games one month I would buy more on PSN knowing that if I bought it I could just pick something I didn't buy.
I would rather support the developers with my purchase if possible...
Sorry I disagree, then I could be punched in the balls twice each month with US PS+ compared to EU... one punch is enough for me each month ;-)
I agree with you that I wish they announced NFS, but how is this a "nice update"? They are just pushing out all the AMD Never Settle Reloaded games... if you have a PC with a new graphics card, you probably have all these already..
Is it based on Region? It showed up expired to me...
I agree with you, I still use my old Xbox as my primary DVD player. Between gaming and DVD's I have used the heck out of it and it still works great. Only problem I ever had with it was with the old style power adapter, not bad for something with daily usage for 8 years.
I was already concerned about the kernel level anti-cheat, but this is a deal breaker. I NEVER turn on secure boot on ANY device! Seriously in 2025, no one come come up with a better anti-cheat solution??
